With the Isles of Scilly being host to a multitude of natural and man-made attractions, you'll never be short of things to see and do.
Tresco Abbey Garden is arguably Scilly's most famous attraction. The tropical garden is home to more than 20,000 species of plants from 80 countries. Take a visit here and surround yourself in a vibrant and colourful oasis of exotic plants and trees.
Your holiday to Scilly will probably include a spot of island hoping and this is a great way to experience the marine life. By boat you can experience many natural wonders of the seas including seals, dolphins, puffins and a variety of rare and migrating birds.
If walking is one of the aims of your holiday then Scilly will surely delight you. The land is owned by either the Duchy of Cornwall or is freehold and whether or like to walk as part of a group or explore independently, you'll find diverse coastal and country scenery, beautiful flora and fauna, breathtaking wildlife as well as historic monuments around every corner, cove or coast. For fabulous views head to Hell Bay at the northern end of Bryher or Peninnis Head on St. Mary's.
The highly rated 'Walk Scilly' is a week-long festival across all the islands which takes place every April; May sees Scilly hosts the World Pilot Gig Championships when more than 130 crews and their gigs descend on the islands; and throughout the summer enjoy the Isles of Scilly Festival which celebrates the very best of Scilly as the islands come alive with an eclectic mix of music, art, folk, literature and of course the ale!
