Elephant Camp 3 nights

Day 1 Phuket/Khao Sok: Early morning transfer from your hotel or Phuket airport (a supplement applies for later flights/transfers) and transfer to the Phang Nga province, passing rural villages, rubber and oil palm plantations. On arrival, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before a relaxing canoe trip down the Sok River during which you can admire the rainforest and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Afterwards, head to the elephant park to learn about the elephant conservation project and have the chance to prepare and feed the elephants one of their daily meals, then watch them bathe before you scrub and wash them clean. Return to camp for dinner.

Day 2 Khao Sok: Morning transfer to the west coast to board a speedboat and explore the mysterious maze of channels in the mangrove forest. Cruise through the channels to meet and board a classical Burmese junk, where lunch will be served, but not before you explore the nearby mangrove creek in a self-paddle canoe. En route back to camp there is a stop at a local market.

Day 3 Khao Sok/Cheow Larn Lake: Today you will explore Cheow Larn Lake by local longtail boat. This little-known, man-made lake is surrounded by limestone mountains and cliffs that rise up from the lake shore and is likened to Guilin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam. After lunch at the Rainforest Camp there’s time to swim in the lake before returning to the Elephant Camp.

Day 4 Khao Sok/Phuket: This morning take a guided hike through the jungle. It’s an excellent opportunity to explore the ecology of one of the world’s oldest rainforests, to see a great variety of exotic plants, trees, and ferns as well as watching out for wildlife. Every day is different, but it is always truly wonderful. Weather dependent lunch will be served in the rainforest, cooked in bamboo, an old tradition of jungle explorers from past centuries. Return to the Jungle Camp at around midday and then leave for your next hotel or the airport.
