Elephant Hills Jungle & Lake Safari

Elephant Camp 1 nights
Rainforest Camp 1 nights

Day 1 Phuket/Khao Sok: Early morning transfer from your hotel or Phuket airport (a supplement applies for later flights/transfers). On arrival you will get close to the elephants and experience hands on these magnificent animals. A once in a lifetime chance to experience the Asian Elephant, the largest land animal in this part of the world. After lunch take a jungle river canoe trip down the Sok River and as you drift along the jungle river watch for colourful birds flying high overhead or basking reptiles on the riverbanks. From the canoe you can experience a world that has changed little in thousands of years, some of the last areas of primary rainforest. Return to the camp for some time to relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding jungle covered mountains before dinner in this unique location.

Day 2 Khao Sok/Cheow Larn Lake: This morning explore a remote jungle lake by local boat. The Cheow Larn Lake is a little known wonder of Thailand's southern rainforest and holds prime habitat for wild elephant, the rare Asian ox, hornbill, various monkey species, hundreds of tropical birds, amphibians and reptiles. Continue to Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp and enjoy the surrounding views as well as a fabulous Thai lunch. Swim in the emerald waters of the lake or head out and explore by canoe. Sometimes gibbon can be heard calling and langurs and macaque monkeys spotted in the trees; this truly is nature at its best. Return to the Rainforest Camp in time to experience the sun setting over the jungle before dinner and an overnight stay in this tranquil setting.

Day 3 Khao Sok/Phuket: Today there is an opportunity to explore the jungle on foot. See a great variety of exotic plants, tropical hardwood trees, orchids, palms and ferns. Enjoy lunch back at the camp and one final swim or paddle in a canoe before your onward departure back to your hotel or Phuket airport.
