Day 1: Fly to the Maldives.
Day 2 Maldives: On arrival, you will be met and transferred by speedboat to your hotel.
Days 3-5 Maldives: Three full days to enjoy this tropical paradise island of breathtaking natural wonders. Spend your days lazing by the pool, on the beach or unwinding at the spa. If you're more inclined to be active then you can play tennis, hit the gym or try your hands at a variety of watersports.
Day 6 Maldives/Cruise: At leisure before you transfer back to Male where you board the Silversea Discoverer.
Day 7 Uligamu Island, Maldives: One of the northernmost inhabited islands of Haa Alif Atoll, the island has spectacular beaches and quiet, tranquil waters with an underwater feast of coral reefs and tropical fish.
Day 8 Cochin, India: Morning at sea. Arrive in Cochin this afternoon where you'll discover historic Fort Cochin and Mattancherry districts to explore.
Day 9 Cochin, India: A full day in the west coast's largest and oldest port. Enjoy strolling the streets which are lined with old merchant houses, godowns (warehouses) and open courtyards heaped with spices and tea.
Day 10 Suheli Island, Lakswadeep Island, India: Afternoon arrival at this oval-shaped coral atoll which is surrounded by rich marine life. Bird lovers should keep a lookout for grey herons or black-capped kingfishers.
Day 11 Tinnakara, Lakswadeep Islands, India: Regarded as the jewel of the Lakswadeep Islands, this tiny island is idyllically covered in palms with white sand beaches on its western side leading to crystal clear emerald waters. Snorkellers can feast their eyes on a diverse array of sea life that dwells in the coral.
Day 12 Cheriyum, Lakswadeep Islands, India: Spend the morning on this tiny island, either lazing on the sands or exploring below the waves.
Day 13 Vizhinjam, India: Within the state of Kerala, the coastal port of Vizhinjam is home to trendy seaside resorts.
Day 14 Galle, Sri Lanka: Morning at sea before reaching the ancient city of Galle in the afternoon. Sights to see include Galle Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 15 Galle, Sri Lanka: The ship remains here this morning so you can stroll around the narrow streets soaking up the historic atmosphere.
Day 16 Trincomalee, Sri Lanka: On Sri Lanka's east coast, Trincomalee has one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Nearby is the ancient city and former capital of Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya, where the incredible rock fortress can be seen.
Day 17 At sea: Take the opportunity to relax and unwind or head to the Observatory Lounge to keep your eyes peeled for whales and dolphins.
Day 18 Chennai, India: Disembark this morning and you are transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or start exploring.
Day 19 Chennai, India: Sights to explore include Fort St George, which dates back to 1640, the marina and Sri Kapeleeswarar Temple.
Day 20 Chennai, India: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Alternatively, why not extend your stay?
